Hatha Yoga Class

It is an ancient practice to unite body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in the teachings of the yogic tradition, its purpose is to help us access our inner state of peace and harmony, revealing our true nature.

Through physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation, Hatha yoga balances the energies within us, cultivating strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. 
It can be translated as yoga of extreme strength.

It presents itself with a set of asanas (Yoga poses), performed in a slower way,

to align the body and calm the mind.

The mind can influence the body just as much the body can influence the mind, it is possible in certain cases to improve an individual's bodily functioning through a change in their mental attitude, but any change brought in this way will be temporary, unless fundamental bodily processes are significantly modified. On the other hand, working directly on restoring bodily functions such as breathing, movement, sensory perception and self-expression has an immediate and lasting effect on your mental attitude. - Alexander Lowen
